Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB adapter - For Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Vista

I've used this adapter for several weeks at my desk using the BTH220 Kinivo headset. They have both worked perfectly. I'm amazed that the range on this Bluetooth product allows me to walk 30-40 ft to another room and even pass through two office walls and still provide excellent audio.

The bluetooth adapter is about the size of my thumbnail but it works perfectly. It was very easy to install and the connection to my bluetooth headset took less than 10 seconds. Very nice product at a reasonable price.

Medialink - Wireless N USB Adapter - 802.11n - 150Mbps - 2.4ghz - Windows 2000 / 2003 / XP 32-Bit and 64-Bit / Vista 32-Bit and 64-Bit / Windows 7 32-Bit and 64-Bit Compatible

If you use Windows 7, DO NOT INSTALL THE DONGLE'S SOFTWARE. I usually install software before using the related hardware. However, in the case of the Medialink, it is unnecessary and (as I read on the various blogs) potentially counter-productive. Just plug in the dongle and go - it's as simple as that - immediate 802.11n connection on your Win 7 machine. I use an Apple Airport router, a Dell and HP laptop, a Samsung TV as well as a Mac Pro on this network.

The only drawback I see to this product is that the printed insert does not really tell you how to install properly--you have to read the pdf file on the CD. I needed to connect an older Windows XP computer (that hasn't been upgraded to SP 3) with my network. The Medialink Link Wireless N Adapter was inexpensive and did not say it required SP3 to install. It works great! Connecting to my network was easy and reception was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Bluetooth Wireless USB 2.0 Micro Adapter Dongle Windows Vista/XP/2000 Plug and Play

It's "plug and play" exactly as it says. I bought this to use a wiimote with dolphin, so I did exactly this: plugged in the dongle, let it automatically install everything, right clicked the new bluetooth icon in my tray and clicked "Add a device", added my wiimote as a device and then set it up in Dolphin. I didn't have to go out searching for software to use it with. It's cheap and not as impressive looking as the more expensive bluetooth adapters, but it definitely works just how it should.
